Nitte School of Management (NSOM) organized a Student Development Program on “Advancing Business Research: From Information Retrieval to Insight Generation with ProQuest One Business” on February 13, 2026, for the PGDM 2025–27 batch.
The session was led by Mr. Sreejith Sashidharan, who introduced students to the ProQuest One Business platform and demonstrated how structured databases can support academic research, industry analysis and decision-making. The workshop focused on transforming raw information into meaningful insights through effective search strategies, data filtering and analytical interpretation.
Students gained hands-on exposure to research tools widely used in the corporate and academic world, helping them understand how credible data sources strengthen case studies, reports and business problem-solving approaches.
The program reflected NSOM’s commitment to equipping learners with practical research capabilities and analytical thinking skills, preparing them to make informed decisions in dynamic business environments.
